FULL MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM

Starting your middle school education while living in Bulgaria is now easier than ever. Starting in 5th grade, you will begin learning the subjects needed to allow you to enter the American High School Program, after which you will obtain a fully-accredited high school diploma. The middle school program is a 4-year program starting in 5th grade and ending in 8th grade (located at the high-school facility).

03 / PROGRAM GOAL AND OUTCOMES
The main goal of the middle school program is to fully prepare students for the high school program to come. Starting in 5th grade, students spend four years learning the fundamentals of reading, comprehending and writing in the English language, getting an overview of US History and Civics, learning general concepts in physical and earth science, and general math concepts in Geometry and pre-algebra. In 8th grade, students are able to choose from high school electives that can be applied towards their high school program credits.
The American High School program consists of a total of 7 subjects per year; four core subjects plus three electives. Core subjects include math, language arts, social studies, and science, and electives include physical education, art, and music. The program is fully accredited Regionally, Nationally and Internationally.
CURRICULUM
The cost for this program covers two aspects:
1. The cost of testing, assessment/grading, textbooks and all other online aids offered by the US-based institution.
2. The cost of attending the school in Varna and career planning.
