HYBRID PROGRAM

/  ACADEMICS

01

This program is designed for students who are interested in getting both a diploma from their regular high school as well as the American High School Diploma.

The regular high school courses completed are evaluated, and only courses that are additionally required by the US are incorporated into the student's schedule. This usually equates to around 7 courses, which could easily be completed each academic year. This program can be started at grades 8th and higher, and can be tailored to finish in 3 to 4 years.

The end result:  A local diploma and an American Diploma - the best of both worlds!

Courses that are usually needed by US institutions that may be missing from the student's current curriculum include:

  • English literature - 4 years

  • American History

  • American Government

  • Economics

  • Health, if not already completed

  • Another subject of the student's choosing.

Currently, we only offer this program during the summer months.

INSPIRATIONAL CORNER

"The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future in life."

Plato

"You are always a student, never a master. You have to keep moving forward."

Conrad Hall

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

Steve Jobs

03 / PROGRAM GOAL AND OUTCOMES

College or university readiness is our ultimate goal for all students. After graduating, students will not only have experienced and studied the same subjects as children in America do, but would have done so in a positive environment that is conducive of learning.

At the end of 12th grade, the 7 subjects combined with what the student would have studied in their regular school will be awarded a fully accredited American High School diploma.

Students choosing to enroll in this program will have their coursework evaluated by a qualified counselor and only subjects that are required by the USA are added on a yearly basis, for a total of 7 required subjects and 1 optional. Official transcripts after 12th grade will be equalized in the USA, and if the American High School requirements are fulfilled, a US diploma will be issued. Courses in this program are fully accredited Regionally, Nationally and Internationally.
